The Elefant 750 enlarged the Ducati-derived desmodromic V-twin to 748 cc, giving roughly 60 hp, and replaced the 650 as the flagship adventure model from 1987. It paired Marzocchi forks with an Ohlins rear shock and a bigger 19 litre tank for long-distance touring.
